Megan Hively, I took my first Zumba class in 2007 and immediately fell in love! The freedom of the movements and the fun, uplifting music kept me coming back week after week. I realized quickly that I wanted to share this workout with others and took my first instructor training in August 2008. Since then I have continued my enthusiasm for Zumba and fitness by becoming AFAA certified and teaching Zumba and other dance fitness classes in the Cornelius/Huntersville area.

I have always had a passion for dance and have done my best to keep it as part of my life. Growing up in West Virginia I took numerous dance classes and was a cheerleader. As an adult, I continued to take classes and had the amazing opportunity to be a dancer for a semi-pro team in the Charlotte area for 5 years. Still today, whether I am watching a performance, taking a lesson, or jamming out in a dance fitness class, I am always captivated with how dance allows us to express ourselves through movement. I am very excited to have the opportunity to combine this passion with fitness at Dancerz Stage. I look forward to working in an exciting, energizing, non-judgmental environment in which students can have fun and get a great workout.

Let's dance!!
